Anti-Semitic, Anti-U.S. TV Ad in Poland

(IsraelNN.com) A television ad campaign by the right-wing League of Polish Families party is aimed at convincing voters that the U.S. and Israel are endangering Polish troops in Iraq. The TV ad features an anti-Israel and anti-U.S. kicker line to a series of images featuring Polish President Lech Kaczynski meeting first with U.S. President George W. Bush and then showing him wearing a yarmulke at the Western Wall. The images are followed with the words, “Our allies. They put us in the line of fire.”

The line flashed on the screen ends with a voiceover warning “It is our nation that is going to fall victim. Let the nation decide.” Party leader Roman Giertych denied the ad was anti-Semitic. “This ad shows the cooperation between Poland and the U.S…..and Israel. We have a right to criticize it,” he maintained. “One can be against the war in Iraq without being an anti-Semite.”

The Stop War movement in the country, however, slammed the ad, insisting that it did indeed have strong anti-Semitic connotations. Poland’s Chief Rabbi, Michael Schudrich, agreed saying the sequence of images was intended to encourage negative reactions to the Polish president’s presence at the Western Wall in Israel.

Yeah, that's actually sad, that such people still exist. There are morons in every nation, unfortunately.

The good thing is, that - according to the recent public opinion polls - they have more or less 1% support among the Poles.

So they're doing everything they can to survive on the political stage. Even by jeopardizing Polish soldiers Polish stationed in Iraq (at least the terrorist are aware of the fact, that we have election in Poland, so - have in mind what happened in Spain, after Madrid attack)

"THEY WANTED THE WAR" (and you see at this moment - the former Left wing prime minister Leszek Miller and the current conservative prime minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, both saying, that this war is also our war)

"LPR (League of Polish Families) AGAINST THE WAR" (and you see the leader of this party saying, that the all the mainstream Polish political parties sent Polish soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan)

"ALLIES" (and you see Polish President Lech Kaczynski with President Bush, and then with Jewish people, by the Western Wall)

"THEY SET UP PEOPLE FOR ATTACK" (and you hear the leader of LPR saying, that it will be the nation, that will lose victims, and you see the funeral of a Polish soldier fallen in Iraq).

this clearly shows how people try to concentrate attention on themselves when they have only 2% of support... and are not going to be part of next parliament
