Canadian activists are demanding Prime Minister Stephen Harper fulfill a promise and submit the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America to a national referendum for an up or down vote. "The Prime Minister of Canada and his cabinet in both Liberal and Conservative regimes support the unification of North America as witnessed by the fact of [former Prime Minister] Paul Martin and [current Prime Minister] Stephen Harper being signatories to the SPP process," said Connie Fogal, leader of the Canadian Action Party.

Best of luck to ‘em. We couldn’t demand a vote on the measure if we stormed Congress’ offices with guns blazing.

We are citizens (own guns) whereas the rest of the world are subjects (don’t own guns).

Don’t we have the chance to agree or disagree to this? Is this what the “Amero” is about? I’m thinking I need to buy a gun, for the first time in my life. This is nuts!

This is your typical Corsi mis-info article.

First, in the the title, he says "Canadians"

Second, he says Canadian "activists"

Finally, he says "Canadian Action Party", which is a extremist left wing party that received 0.04% of the vote last year.

There is no measure to vote on. The SPP is only a consulting group. Any proposals it would come up with would need to be enacted into law in Canada by Act of Parliament or by an act of a Provincial parliament, or at the least by an Order-in-Council.

Jerome Corsi doesn't’t know beans about Canadian politics. The idea that the most conservative Prime Minister in Canadian history would conspire to subjugate the Dominion into a North American union is patently ridiculous.
