The story is on top and the poll is on the bottom
You sound like a ten year old. Your post has nothing to do with reality.
If you seriously think the subject matter of this thread is comparable to the logistics of running the German Nazi death camps as you suggest in post #35, you need to seek professional psychiatric treatment. I mean that in all sincerity.
In other words, your for abortion.

Should pharmacists have the right to refuse to distribute the “morning after” pill if they morally object to use of the drug?

NOT in Washington, the State, they don’t.....here it’s mandated that pharmacists sell the morning after pill.....
She can go down the street to the NEXT pharmacist who WILL prescribe it.....sheesh.
Hey! I like that logic. But I'm the pharmacist so I'm going to apply it another way: I'm not here to debate the morality of the drug I have been asked to dispense. Personally, I couldn't care less what views you hold with regard to this pill, but I'm not dispensing it, it's just that simple. You can shut up and go to some other damn pharmacy but you will not get it by my hand.
The pharmacy owner can hire someone else who WILL prescibe it. Sheesh!
Muslims feel the same way when it comes to selling pork at Walmart. I see you agree with them.
If you are the owner of your own business, you can sell or not sell whatever you want. If you are working for someone else, you do what they tell you, or find another job. Pretty simple.
Of course they have the “right” to refuse to give it out. And their employer has the “right” to fire them.
So is that the new standard now? If it is then post the religious affiliation of every on-duty pharmacist in the country. That way we, the consumer of legally prescribed medicine in America will know which establishment will honor legally prescribed prescriptions. Doesn't that strike you as a little bit Talibanish?
We have PHARMACY OWNERS, here in Washington State who are evangelical Christians and really do not want to sell this drug.....people can drive probably less than 5 miles to another pharmacy. But, NOOOOO....the gov’t mandates what they sell! Do you hear what you are saying?
No they should not. Just like I don’t have to help with an abortion because I disagree. Other people can dispense this drug if need be.
But we are talking about abortion here and destroying human life. What person wants to be involved in that?
See post 55.....and NO....it isn’t “Talibanish”....it’s called free enterprise. I don’t go to a Muslim store near us....I don’t care for their products, and they probably don’t sell some things I would like.....sooooo?????
Making a pharmacist who does not want to prescribe this is against his moral or religious freedom.
See US Constitution....Nothing in it requires one to accept employment in a corporation whose practices they disagree with. I'd respect these pharmacists more if they sought out employers who agree with their religious beliefs. Whether they dispense the drugs they morally disagree with or not, they are benefiting from the profits of their sales.
