Only 4 toilets in the big coach section. And 2 stairs for the whole plane.
The dumbest floor design I’ve ever seen.
Your bias is showing, my dear.
I suppose the 747 was an astoundingly innovative craft, the 737 blazed new ground, the 777 was cutting edge, the 767 a plane for the ages, the 717...oops, the 757 wayyy ahead of it's time, the....
If Airbus were playing on a level field, Boeing would have been buried long ago.
You win! That is by far the funniest, most absurd statement I've seen posted this year. Make it two years. But you forgot the "sarcasm" tag.
Oops, you beat me to the post. Great minds think alike.
If Airbus were not run by a consortium of countries that have historically been at war with each other every 50 years or so, had workers who didn't work under absolutely socialist rules for about 30 hours a week and 11 months a year, Boeing wouldn't have a chance.
That they have stayed even is a major miracle; but bigtime outsourcing for major assemblies may yet upset their cart.
In total, 20 Concordes were built, six for development and 14 for commercial service.
High fuel costs and low passenger capacity combined to make the Concord a very expensive form of transportation compared with the Boeing 747. No Concord reached 25,000 hours while 747s exceed 100,000 hours.
I saw the Concord vs. Boeing SST match-up as a kid and this is deja vu all over again. Boeing opted to build the slower but economical 747 rather than the SST. The French seem to have omitted economics once again and designed biggest as opposed to fastest forty years later.

Perhaps if they moved their production to North America and took on an American business model? As an added touch, they could change their name to something starting with a "B"!
I’d hate to wait for that thing to empty out, if I’m the last one. I’m impatient enough, just waiting for a 737 to empty out.
Now, if you could become Irish, perhaps.....
gosh, a double bed just for
george herbert walker bush and bill clinton.
Ah yes, that long tradition of Irish aviation. Just because the Irish are always high as a kite doesn't mean they know how to fly.
So is yours. The narrow body Airbus series has barely changed since its introduction. Look at the 737-300-400-500-600-700-800-900, each aimed at a different market with different strengths. And that is the difference between Boeing and Airbust. Boeing makes planes after extensive market research. Airbust built the A380 to compensate for the shortcomings of its members’ members.
True Airbust introduced fly by wire and was ahead in composites. But they have long since lost their advantages and are in serious trouble now. And yes the 777 was quite an innovation for its time. It was the first plane designed without paper. Compare it to the A340 if you want to have a good laugh.
The concord died because their customers worked in 2 similar sky scrapers that where incidentally struck by boeing airplanes.
No joke - the concorde was to loud to travel over land and had no reach for trans pacific flights.
London - NY was the only route it could serve economically. Then suddenly 70% of their standard customers died.
