Nothing sarcastic about it at all.

If Airbus were not run by a consortium of countries that have historically been at war with each other every 50 years or so, had workers who didn't work under absolutely socialist rules for about 30 hours a week and 11 months a year, Boeing wouldn't have a chance.

That they have stayed even is a major miracle; but bigtime outsourcing for major assemblies may yet upset their cart.

So your point is that if Airbus wasn't hamstrung by the architecture of its own socialist design and poor business management, it would easily hammer Boeing?

Perhaps if they moved their production to North America and took on an American business model? As an added touch, they could change their name to something starting with a "B"!
