He donated the money to a nonprofit that he runs, although I think it’s a different one. Can’t remember the name.

"...tantamount to the Nobel Committee endorsing his work."So what? The Committee endorsed the "work" of Yassar Arafat and Jimmy Carter.
This "prize" is nothing more than the propaganda schlock du jour.

It is one of the most impressive accolades any public servant can receive. Not to me. It's becoming nothing more than a way to make a political statement.

There are two golden rules that explain every you need to know about Gore, climate change, the left, etc.
(1) The left always lies about everything.
(2) Everything the left wants to do will make things worse.

a vehicle for attacking the United States and capitalismAn article in which Gunnar Berge, the Nobel committee chairman, admits giving the award in 2002 to Jimmuh Carter was intended as a "kick in the leg" to the US.
http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=1130432002 In other words, it is meaningless.

The Nobel Peace Prize lost all credibility when Ronald Reagan was bypassed. If anyone did more to advance the cause of peace, it was he.

Unfortunately, I think the Dims even see Mother Teresa as an example of advancing socialism. Why? They got to watch someone sacrifice a “normal” life in service to those less fortunate. It’s just what socialists love to see. Now, if they had actually seen the REAL reason behind her life’s work, she’d have never even been mentioned for a Nobel.

But...why should we reduce CO2 emissions?Beats me, but IF the enviro's were really serious, they'd be all into Nuclear. But they aren't, they have another agenda..

Don't be worried about CO2 emissions. I don't think you quite realize the scale of the Global Warming Hoax I am well aware of the hysteria. I actually favor a less carbon based energy system, primarily for national security reasons.
