Which of the European models do you propose for our economy, Luxembourg, Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, or Iceland’s? And admit it, you don’t even know how “protectionist” their economies actually are.

What do you consider protectionist? In non-agricultural duties, Japan’s average duties are lower than that of the United States. In fact, Japan has a significantly higher portion of its non-agricultural imports that are duty-free than the United States.
