I have to post that Griswold piece, where he takes Paul Craig Roberts to task for his eagerness to construct strawmen.

Beating up on PCR is so easy lately. Since he’s off his meds. Ping me when you find it. Thanks.

How many jobs in manufacturing is $290 billion worth-the amount we imported from China last year.

You never answered. No time? LOL!

If the outsourcing figure was low you would have it plastered on every thread.

None of those companies outsourced their US labor force? That’s funny!

Try to answer the original question before you run off to a new topic.

How many jobs in manufacturing is $290 billion worth-the amount we imported from China last year.

I asked you first in post 93.

How many jobs in manufacturing is $290 billion of imports worth?

Why won’t you answer?

Why won’t you answer?

Because I don't know. If you find out, post the answer.

Maybe you should be a little more clear. Do you mean the manufacturing jobs lost in the U.S., the ones lost in China, or the ones lost world-wide?

I meant Ikenson when I said Griswold. He gives it to Paul Craig Roberts on the chin here. Here's a synopsis:

Ikenson: the death of the U.S. manufacturing sector has been greatly exaggerated.
Roberts: It's all from U.S. companies offshoring production!
Ikenson: WTF?

I should revise:

Ikenson: the state of U.S. manufacturing is healthier than at any point in history.
Roberts: It's all from U.S. companies offshoring production!
Ikenson: WTF?

If I could only remember which paleo tried to pull the same stunt here when I posted Ikenson's original.
