Why don't you ask Jim Robinson?
For me it's the weather, opportunity, prosperity, the mountains, the deserts, the beaches, skiing, surfing off-roading, to fight for the causes we believe in. Politics in California changes faster than the housing market. Liberalism comes and goes in our state, but California is the the best place in the nation to live and raise my children -- hands down.
Liberalism is a national problem - except in your state, of course.
What do you mean turning? He's been doing crap like this since he was sworn in in 2003.
Someone from Minnesota said that? What a moron.
we would have probably been better to have left “ gravey davis” alone! SAD SAD SAD!!!!
“Liberalism is a national problem - except in your state, of course.”
While I would love to leave California, I have wondered if this is really the case. We could leave California and be vilified for being from California in the new place.
I have wondered if leaving might just be an exercise in futility for it does seem that liberalism is indeed a national problem now.
Liberalism is a disease that is spreading like a pandemic flu.
Major spew, nail on the head! LOL. Duncan Hunter is from CA too, the BEST candidate we have. Oh, and the rest of us CA hippy slime like you and me who have no self-respect.
Did you happen to watch any of the debate as the microstamping bill went through the legislature? Big debate, small, what?
I watched the hearings when the same thing was tried two years ago, at that time there was pretty strong opposition.
We told ya so.
Yeah, it's my job.
“Duncan Hunter is from CA too, the BEST candidate we have.”
I was born & raised in California. I agree Duncan Hunter is by far the best candidate. But I was shocked to realize he hails from my home state. The land of Boxer, Feinstein, Pelosi, Sheehan and Newsome, just to name a few.
I’ve heard things aren’t so bad in outlying areas. We live quite close to San Francisco, and if people judge California as a whole on the basis of what San Franciscans hold dear, I can’t really blame them for despising us, though it does sting deeply to be lumped into the same bowl as the fruits, nuts and flakes who run the machine.
No, just as they never banned hacksaws that could be used to make sawed-off-shotguns. It takes a more sophisticated argument to defeat this kind of legislation.
And, IIRC, Joe Kennedy, the US Ambassador to Great Britain, was exorting FDR to stay out of the war, don't get involved, and telling him the British were going to fold at any time, right up until he was replaced.
The British, with the aid of aircrew from other nations, stopped the Nazi juggernaut at the Channel, and the rest is History.
Tight package there, when the loose ends are tied together.
Anybody know the “reason” Arnie supported this legislation?
And in regards to the filing off the stamp; they’ll just make it a felony to do so.
They’ll continue to arrest honest citizens while letting the gun-toting badguys go scot free.
A big issue here is the lead ban. California has more gun owners than any other state in the Union and the shooting sports, including Cowboy Action shooting is huge here. All of these arms use lead, you cannot fire anything but lead bullets from an old time firearm. This will mean millions of dollars revenue lost in California and many native born Californians like me moving to Nevada. Thank God the border is only 20 miles away.
Well that’s prety much the game for semi automatic pistols. Arnold just shut down the semi auto pistol market. A$$hole.
Hunter has the millions in earmarks for that jet that dosen’t work and noone wants if it did hanging around his neck.
Then welcome to your new masters. If you had any self respect you’d leave that cesspool behind.
The Termanutter strikes again!
