It’s not mandatory, but you see a lot of yellow shirts. People wear them other days too, but Monday is the unspoken day and you see a lot.

It is also a way for office workers to dodge normally stuffy dress codes. It is the main reasons everyone wears them to work.

Obviously from someone who knows about the selection commitee.
Out here in the hills, a lot of people wear the yellow shirts because they want to, when the farmers have a nice shirt they wear it when not in the fields until they wear it out
