Mom' and 'Dad' banished by California
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | October 13, 2007

"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

"We are shocked and appalled that the governor has blatantly attacked traditional family values in California," said Karen England, executive director of Capitol Resource Institute.

"With this decision, Gov. Schwarzenegger has told parents that their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers."

"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families, which worked to defeat the plans. "This means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms.

"Shame on Schwarzenegger and the Democrat politicians for ensuring that every California school becomes a homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination center," he said.

I think you misunderstand.

I love California - lived here 24 years. The "California Bashers" I was referring to were all those who love to take a swipe at California - whatever the context.

Hope this clears that up for you.

Couldn’t we just concede California to Islam on a five-ten year lease. They could actually use a dose of Islamic Law. I live in NY, I think NY is certainly crazy, but NY pales in comparison to California.

Good! The more parents who abandon the government schools, the better the chances that they will be completely abolished.

Government schools need two things: Students and money.

Hopefully parents will remove their student and join with others to stop the flow of money.

Coming to a socialist government run indoctrination center near you.

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
They are MARXISTS! ( yes, I am shouting.)

It can´t be said loudly or often enough. They aren´t liberals, socialists, leftists, or progressives. They are Marxists who have our government schools by the neck.

Marxism ( another word is Neocommunism) is our nation´s most important, immediate, and serious threat, and government schools are their most effective weapon against freedom.

We can survive a nuclear suit case bomb, but we will not survive if the Marxists ( neocommunists) succeed in indoctrinating the next generation of voters.

Yes,,,,it is that serious!

“Only a moron would live in CA anymore.”

Only a classic keyboard coward would make a statement like that.

It is a great way for socialists to achieve their goal of destroying our Democratic Republic

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

They are NOT socialists!

They are Marxists!
Another term that fits is Neocommunist.

We will lose this philosophical war if we don´t start calling it what it truly is. Marxism and communism.

Scratch a liberal and under his thin skin is a socialist. Dig a little deeper and you will find the Marxist nuclear fuel rod that drives everything he says and does.

Please read the bill:
http://info.sen.ca.gov/pub/07-08/bill/sen/sb_0751-0800/sb_777_bill_20070223_introduced.html
.....

Perhaps I am slow today but I didn’t find the words, mom, dad, husband or wife in that bill.

>>Couldn’t we just concede California to Islam on a five-ten year lease. They could actually use a dose of Islamic Law. I live in NY, I think NY is certainly crazy, but NY pales in comparison to Californi<<

California and New York are easily our two largest economic centers. They provide more exports (and thus help keep the enormous trade deficit in check) than the next 30 largest states together. California, in particular is the source of much of the new technology that keeps our country competitive.

Now the part of this law that says no instructional materials can contain “Any matter reflecting adversely” on the various groups could be limiting but generally schools don’t need to be making sweeping condemnations - they can focus on specific historical people or events in history, for example. I’ve taught history and I could work with those rules even if I find them irritating.

I’ve got to wonder in the person who wrote he article even read the law - it basically says everyone in the school gets “equal rights and opportunities in the postsecondary
institutions of the state.”

I don’t see where it even mentions “Mom and Dad” but the article makes it sound like the law is about Mom and Dad.

I think WND is pulling a fast one or else wrote out of ignorance. They are becoming a source that distorts facts so frequently we always need other sources to find out what the facts really were.

Keyes wants to replace it all with a tax break

Keyes isn't running for President (or anything else as far as I know).

LOL Well, this is the first I've heard of that. I suspect he won't be any more successful than he was the last time.

>LOL Well, this is the first I’ve heard of that. I suspect he won’t be any more successful than he was the last time.<<

And I’m sure he knows he’s not gonna be President but he raises his issues and he confirms his reputation as a bulldog on those issues.

And I think he could be useful to a Republican President in some capacity. When you need to send a message and the message is “we’re serious, don’t f*** with us on this” -like John Bolton, Alan Keyes would be good for sending that message.

Satan works hardest where he can get most bang for his buck. . . .

He also likes a captive audience. That's why every moonbat and pervert with an agenda that can't be sold elsewhere is drawn to the schoolag archipelago like flies to... you know.

To be fair, I don't think most people would have guessed Arnold would have turned out to be a total socialist lunatic.

Anyone who is "pro-choice" (i.e. someone unwilling to defend the lives of unborn babies) is capable of anything.

I'm appalled, but not shocked.

If you think by homeschooling or sending your kids to a private school is going to insulate you your wrong. They are coming for you next. The better solution is to take them on and reverse this in the public setting.

It's possible to do both. That's what I've done. I've gone as far as to run for school committee.

But when your kid is trapped in a flaming building, you get him the hell out. It's not the time to debate fire fighting public policy.

It redefined "gender" from the biological gender at birth to add something that included what appears to be cross-dressers and... Nor did I see anything that addresses boys being allowed to go into girls' locker rooms or bathrooms or vice versa.

A boy could put on some lipstick and hit the girls' shower.

There is no mainstream media coverage of the sb 777’s passage.

A search on Google News this morning yields only 10 articles, only two from newspapers - one is a reader letter, the other is an editorial from Sept. 19. The rest are Christian news services.
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=&q=sb+777&ie=UTF-8&scoring=n

I found a couple that mention AB 394, also called the “Safe Place to Learn” bill and which “”requires the California Department of Education to monitor school compliance with the state’s existing anti-bias law, the Student Safety and Violence Protection Act of 2000. That law bans all forms of unlawful harassment and discrimination in schools to protect the safety of every student, including those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT).””

There are quite a few articles about the veto of the same sex marriage bill, however. Just don’t look behind that fuss and bother to see the bills that will allow children to declare their gender preference and force teachers and class mates to enable them.
