I certainly don't condone drinking and driving, but my goodness, what a bureaucratic foul-up!

Not to mention his lawyer’s foul up if the lawyer didn’t raise speedy trial at sentencing.

This country is developed a serious judicial problem in the last 20 years.

Over zealous prosecutors spent way too much time watching Law & Order or viewing their jobs as political stepping stones making it politically expedient to walk over the citizens up the political ladder to higher office.

The flip side of over zealous prosecutors are the uber liberal judges that can't seem to put away hardened criminals in lieu of the slim hope of being reformed into productive citizens by a incapable prison system

This guy should have been made to do some type of community service at best

Eight years ago it was 1999. They didn’t have this on a hard drive somewhere? Or states didn’t have computers way back in 1999?

Apparently this DA office was unaware that alphabetical, numerical or even date indexing existed prior to computers!
