Pepsi, Coke rivalry becomes physical
Fri Oct 12, 9:46 PM ET
The long-standing rivalry between Coke and Pepsi took a physical turn Friday when a Pepsi deliveryman allegedly punched his Coke counterpart in the face at a western Pennsylvania Wal-Mart, state police said.
The two deliverymen were "apparently bickering back and forth" while unloading their wares at the Indiana County store, police said. When the Coke deliveryman left the store, his counterpart allegedly punched him in the face three times, breaking his nose and giving him a black eye, police said.
No charges have been filed, but police characterized the incident as a misdemeanor simple assault.
Some of us have no use for a "soft" drink.
So Pepsi has more punch to it, but subjects you to a possible jail sentence and lawsuit for damages?
Watch a movie from that era. Everybody, men and women alike, is covered with makeup. The closeups are hysterical.
Breakfast O' Champions!
It’s a stupid soft drink!! Not like we’re talking beer or anything actually important :-)
I like RC Cola too, anyone for Shasta?
This is one case where Pepsi kicked Coke’s ass.
Yeah, I know. Just having fun.
When I saw the ad, “Puttin on the Ritz” immediately popped into my head lol.
LOL, I’ve always likend the US finger as a demoflop salute.
I cant drink Pepsi because my parents werent related.

Not even by marriage?
What?!!? Why wasn’t I informed of this?? Seriously though, what’s up with that? It costs more, which is why the bottlers don’t use cane sugar anymore. Even *corn syrup* is too pricey these days, so I don’t know what’s next
in the pipeline. So, did your Walmart coke cost more, did they advertise it as such?
Yup - Singapore too. Had a Coke on a Redeye to Seoul. It tasted way better, prolly because of the cane sugar. Sorta torqued me off a bit, since Coke is a national asset. Or was.
The local bottlers don't like Wally doing this, but I guess they do what they want, right?
The taste was wonderful, I could really taste flavors I forgot where there.
I don't know if it's something they carry on a regular basis, but if you shop there you may check it out. I've heard some Mexican markets will import it too.
***It’s trucked in from Mexico...***
The bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola I have in front of me right now has on the ingredients ..Carbonated water, High Fruitcose corn syrup and/or sugar, Carmel Color, Phosphoric Acid, Natural Flavors, Caffene.
So, it might or might not have sugar in it.
My label says nothing of corn syrup. Azucar solomente.
Dr Pepper (somebody had to say it)
