Theres a saying that Washington is Hollywood for ugly people. While we wont comment on that, we will say that this latest news out of Tinseltown makes us wish that life imitated art just a little bit more.
Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney are reported to be in early talks about teaming up for a movie, which The Hollywood Reporter is calling a political thriller, loosely based on Howard Deans innovative but ultimately unsuccessful run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004.
Mr. DiCaprio is expected to play the young, idealistic communications director who guides an unconventional candidate but is ultimately derailed by dirty politics as usual. So, that means the heartthrob is playing the screen version of Joe Trippi. (Kind of like Robert Redford playing Bob Woodward in All the Presidents Men.)

Funny, I could have sworn that the horror flick "Scream" had already been made.
It’ll bomb!
(Director) "CUT! That's not how you say it, DiCaprio. Please put some emotion into it!"
Sorry, but Robin Williams already did a movie about a doctor moonlighting as a clown.
A Broadway play about a presidential campaign that failed in the primaries. Only in New York, I guess.
Makes me glad Dicaprio got popped in Departed.
Pathetic beyond belief. Arabs and liberals share a lot in common; like extreme delusions and making idols of defeated and ****** up people.
Lol, is Phyllis Diller still alive? They could hire her for the ‘voice-over’!
They’re going to spend millions to make a movie about a loser from the last election? When do we get “The John Kerry Story”?
These people are so relentless, treasonous, naive and insidious.
What in the world are they thinking. Do they care the least bit about their own survival and the survival of the system, country and government that supports and feeds them and provides their luxurious and privileged life styles? Do they have a clue?
I know that “Howard the Duck” has been made already, and was a monumental flop.
I am so glad I don’t go to the movies. I wait for the DVD’s & I guess this one will have a short run. I wouldn’t ever watch this movie. Why not let crazy Dean play himself?
...or was he a clown moonlighting as a doctor? I can never keep that one straight.
.
Why?
Who will go see it?
Disney, James Bond, etc.
Mass appeal -
Howard Dean?
Is George Soros laying out 160 million for some reason that anyone really cares about?
Two idiot actors?
No, they are truly clueless.
And for all their fancy trappings, they are classless as well.
