Bernard Kerik's legal nightmare is about to get worse, with federal prosecutors expected to file charges against the former police commissioner that will likely include allegations of bribery, tax fraud and obstruction of justice, the Daily News has learned.

The indictment, expected next month, could prove to be an embarrassing obstacle for Kerik's former mentor Rudy Giuliani, who is cruising at the top of the polls heading into the presidential primary gauntlet.

The bribery allegations against Kerik stem from a secret meeting at a bar in Tribeca, according to two sources familiar with the federal probe.

I remember how I used to think he was such a great guy. Then it all went downhill from there.

“The indictment, expected next month, could prove to be an embarrassing obstacle for Kerik’s former mentor Rudy Giuliani,..”

Let’s hope and pray. It might help a real Republican like Hunter or Thompson get nominated.

Rduy CAN’T win a general election with his track record.

They are all great guys.

What a triple chump. F’d up his career. Could of been a millionaire. Sold out for chump change. Got caught. Turned down a plea bargain.

Dig. Dig. Dig.
He knows, but still doesn’t think it applies to him.

“Rduy CAN’T win a general election with his track record.”

As soon as Rooty got the nomination the RATS will expose the well known, but seldom reported, information that Rooty was warned about Kerik’s mob ties BEFORE he put him in charge of anything!

There is no way possible Rooty could win.

Yeah, two guys who have no chance of beating Shrillary, much less getting the nomination. Better to hope, and pray, that Mitt Romney gets the nomination. Someone who can, and will, beat Clinton.

Well, that is the difference between Republican and Democrat voters.

They like crooks and wallow in their criminality.
We don’t.

I’d support Romney very avidly if he ran, unlike JulieAnnie or Juan McCainez who will never get my vote.

But Hunter is a real moral and philosophical giant and the only thing keeping him from getting the limelight is a lack of corporate dollars.

You know - money from those guys making a fortune importing lead coated toys and lipstick, contaminated food, and bogus medical supplies from Red China, and making a mint employing illegal invaders in America while the tax-payer is forced to foot the bill to educate their kids, pay their medical costs and deal with the loss of jobs which should go to real Americans or legal resident aliens.

If Hunter got the nomination, it would force their hands. Either they support a guy who believes in capitalism and free enterprise, but puts patriotism before profit, or watch a haggard harridan from Hell who is an out-and-out socialist waltz into the White House.

Mobbed-up Bernie Kerik. Mayor Rooty's ex-driver,
bodyguard and failed Homeland nominee;pled guilty to
having mob ties.

KERIK PALS IN LIE RAP By DENISE BUFFA July 20, 2006 -- The owners of a New Jersey construction company turned themselves in yesterday on charges that they lied to a grand jury investigating disgraced former top cop Bernard Kerik. Brothers Frank and Peter DiTommaso were arraigned in Bronx Supreme Court, where prosecutors charged they lied under oath earlier this year when they said their firm, Interstate Industrial Corp. - long suspected as having mob ties - did not pay for the majority of renovations to Kerik's Riverdale apartment in 1999. The renovations amounted to $165,000 in work. The DiTommasos pleaded not guilty and were released on their own recognizance.

Kerik pleaded guilty late last month to accepting the free renovations when he was the city's correction commissioner. In pleading guilty to misdemeanors, Kerik said he made the mistake of accepting the extensive renovations - which included a Jacuzzi tub - from Interstate "thinking they were clean."
