WASHINGTON – Mexico's former President Vicente Fox is making no secret of his desire to promote a "North American Union" to compete economically with Europe and the Far East.
In a promotional tour for his new book, "Revolution of Hope," Fox told NPR's "Talk of the Nation" audience: "That's part of my Americas dream, that we can build our future together. We are partners with United States and Canada through NAFTA. There are other blocs in Latin America, but at the very end a continental trade agreement and union on the long term would be a way to develop ourselves and to be able to have the standards and level of living that we all need."
Fox shocked many in the U.S. earlier in the week when he told CNN's Larry King that he and President Bush had agreed to work toward a common currency not only for North America but for Latin America as well.
It was possibly the first time a top official of Mexico, Canada or the U.S. openly confirmed a plan for a regional currency. Fox explained the current regional trade agreement that encompasses the Western Hemisphere is intended to evolve into other previously hidden aspects of integration.
According to a transcript published by CNN, King, near the end of the broadcast, asked Fox a question e-mailed from a listener.
"Mr. Fox, I would like to know how you feel about the possibility of having a Latin America united with one currency?"
Fox answered in the affirmative, indicating it was a long-term plan. He admitted he and President Bush had agreed to pursue the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas – a free-trade zone extending throughout the Western Hemisphere, suggesting part of the plan was to institute eventually a regional currency.

Clearly NOT at the levels of the puppet masters and their government leader stooges . . . of which he’s a quite compliant one.
And, somehow, God has all the little children factored into things. But Scripture does say WOE TO THOSE who have breast feading children when it comes time for Israel to flee. And that they should pray that their flight not be on the Sabbath etc.
But I think praying the 91st Psalm is comfort and a spiritual and practical power when prayed in faith—regardless of the looming circumstances.
Compiling lists is likely much more automated than any of us could imagine.
My Catholic upbringing emphasised the Scripture that emphasises that Christ will return “like a thief in the night” (Thessalonians 5:2, Isaiah 29:5-6, Revelation 3:3, and others) so perhaps that’s where we differ.

Certainly that’s true.
But Christ Himself also chided the pharisees and by inference Christians who could discern the times of the weather changes but not the indicators of the time of the end.
He certainly exhorted us to watch, be ready, pray, live right etc.

The author of this piece needs to go back quite a few years. Fox made these statements when he was first elected.

Well not imho.
The US is much bigger than either Mexico or Canada. You have a much larger population and a much more powerful economy than either. Therefore, in any projected union, who is going to be dominating that association?
I dont know where you get all this nonsense about the “next step” being to put it all under the juris of the UN. The UN is a debating house whereby the smaller nations of the world get a chance to froth and spout and the greater ones can claim moral high grounds from each other. All but the uttermost of idealists think otherwise.
I don’t know that the UN will end up the main vehicle of bringing in the global government.
I think it is at least somewhat likely that the UN will be scrapped as inadequate etc. etc. and a new structure “untained” by the UN’s past failures will be put in place.
On the other hand . . . many folks have asserted that UN forces are to implement and manage martial law in the USA because our forces are deliberately overextended overseas.
And, along that line . . . some folks (a surprising number, actually—approaching a dozen or so with some following?) have had dreams and visions “seeing” precisely that with blue helmets and all.
IN many respects, the UN is a horrible joke. In other respects, it is a key tool of the globalist oligarchy and likely to remain so, if not increase as such more overtly in coming months and years.
