Yet another reason why the Nobel “Peace” Prize is worthless.

Fox and Friends, after talking about Gore’s award, talked about the British judge and highlighted his findings. Good for them; the rest of the MSM may ignore it.

Change "may" to "will" and you're right on the beam.

Wow, that’s a hell of a picture of Al. Is that the best they could find?

Al Gore joins other Bizarro selections, cements reputation of
the Nobel Peace Prize as One Big (Annual) Joke

2005 Mohamed ElBaradei

2002 Jimmy Carter

2001 Kofi Annan

1994 Yasser Arafat, Shimon Peres, Yitzhak Rabin

.

In no way do I think of Arafat or Carter as instruments of peace, but I can see where the Left would make that insane argument. But Al Gore’s movie stretches the logic of the award beyond the limit of reasonableness. It is as many say “the in your face America prize”. The award to Gore is so bizarre that one can clearly say the prize has jumped the shark. Its former prestige may not be recoverable.

I have a basic question, perhaps some one could provide an answer?

What does pimping the World-wide lie of “man-made Global Warming” have to do with advancing the cause of “Peace”?

Mr. Nobel has got to be rolling in his grave..

From The Wall Street Journal, 11/1/2000:

"The zinc mining on [Gore's] land causes groundwater pollution...The plant that processes the zinc 100 miles away in Clarksville is a high-pollution Superfund site, and a previously unpublicized Environmental Protection Agency study cites it for dangerous contamination...Tax records show Mr. Gore gets about $227 in royalties per acre...

The lease [became] a political problem for Mr. Gore; the Republican National Committee [ran ads in 2000] accusing him of hypocrisy on his environmental record. "Gore has allowed mining companies to mine zinc from his property," the ad states. "They have been cited for polluting the source of local drinking water, all while Gore has made a half a million dollars in mining royalties."

But a 1995 study for the EPA makes a more serious claim about the plant in Clarksville, Tenn., where Mr. Gore's zinc is processed, and which is run by the same company that pays royalties to Mr. Gore, Pasminco Inc. The area around the plant is contaminated with toxic substances such as cadmium and mercury, posing "a threat to the human food chain," the report says. The plant has been designated a Superfund site."

You left out the wonderful Jimmy Carter as part of the perfect triangle of lies, hatred of America and pure deceit.

It is as many say “the in your face America prize”. The award to Gore is so bizarre that one can clearly say the prize has jumped the shark.

It is simply a matter of European socialists seeking to work with American socialists to further the growth and power of the UN.

It starts with global warming acceptance and is leading to taxes, payments not called taxes and world courts. Legal authority will get things for socialists that they can not get with armies or competitive skills.

“We have entered the world of Alice in Wonderland where up is down and out is in.
This delusional hack has now been awarded an Oscar and a Nobel Prize. This is the same guy who, upon seeing busts of two great American presidents at Monticello, asked, “Who are those men?”

Al Gore is the biggest joke on Earth.”

OH but you forget, he invented the Internet, lol

Just shows you what a sham that award is. Jimmy Carter got one, did he not? That proved its worthlessness for me.

This may propel Gore into the presidential race. This is his last chance. Many Democrats are calling for Gore.

Gore has done nothing for peace. He has not even done much for the environment. He had eight years as VP and he hardly mentioned it. He is no environmentalist - private jets, the food at this daughter's wedding, etc.
