Gore does much the same. Socialism spreads and taxes rise. Absurd theories with no basis in fact become doctrine when someone can be driven by fear to pay a government bureaucrat to make economic decisions.

You've hit it on the head, I think. We have plenty of evidence that we are still emerging from an ice age. The genius is in finding a way to: A) Make it seem like a bad thing, and B) Blame it on the wealthiest and most productive nation in the world. After that, redistribution of wealth becomes much easier with guilt and fear driving people to pay off whatever thug pleads the greatest hardship (or noblest intentions).

I’ve got an old International bus up here in Alaska that Mr. Gore is more than welcome to live in.

Hey, there’s a comment section on that page, you don’t have to sign up with your email address or anything—there’s an eval section (I didn’t bother) about the site, I just left a message in the “Free Thoughts” box, along the lines of “you have jumped the shark” and “what hath God wrought?”

Oh, the shame, poor Mr. Nobel must be rolling in his grave. This is going to embolden big Algoracle beyond the imagination, mark my words!

Rush had a lock until he was swift-boated by Senator Harry Reid/Media/Matters/George Soros...

Point taken, but please note: Swiftboating is when the good guys tell the truth about a bad guy, not when the baddies tell lies about a good man.

Congratulations algore, you are now at least as fine and good and noble as Yassir Arafat.

Al Gore DID NOT win the Nobel Peace Prize. He won HALF the Nobel Peace Prize. I guess he got the left half? The UN got the other half.

“Since the climate changing is established”

Of course it’s been established, for the past 4.5 billion years. This is also known as ‘weather patterns’.

“The only quesition to be debated is whether there is anthropengenic climate change”

Yes, that is the focus of the debate. Since solar radiation and water vapor are the 2 most significant factors contributing towards warming the earth, I believe the answer to your question is yes (i.e. the costs proposed by the UN interplanetary council’s “research” overwhelm any theoretical benefit).

This is the Euro’s way of encouraging Owl Gore to run for president again. And to endorse him as “the real president” who was “robbed” of office in 2000.

Katrina had nothing to do with global warming.

Everyone knows that Cheney and Rove had Haliburton blow the damns that caused the flooding.

Get with the program and stay with the script!

This award confers stature (well, it used to). So Gore now has what even Bill does not - at least by the Nobel metric.

My prediction: this keeps him out of Hillary’s race.

"What do Algore, Arafat and that crazy Jimmy Carter have in common???" says Steve. "They are all anti-Bush," says Brian. Finally Algore makes the 8 a.m. headlines...however, the segment includes the judge's list of myths in his film.

Off topic, there's a congressman who is demanding that Sandy Burglar take the lie detector test...

**I’ve been watching Fox all morning and so far not a peep about Algore. No Fox News Alert, no gong...what’s going on???**

Maybe Fox News knows the difference between News and a Painfully BAD JOKE?

He say he is donating it all to an organization called

“The Alliance for Climate protection”

And who is the head of that?

http://www.climateprotect.org/board

And what is their mission?

“Our mission is to persuade the American people — and people elsewhere in the world – of the importance and urgency of adopting and implementing effective and comprehensive solutions for the climate crisis.”

Notice, it isnt to solve the “Problem”, it’s to “market” the problem.

Maybe they sell carbon credits too.

My crazy mind points out to me that the world actually is a more peaceful place because of Gore. Can you imagine what things would have been like if he had won the presidency? You think his “reaction” to the 9/11 events would have resulted in a more peaceful world or a less peaceful world? Because he lost, there is more peace. . .
