I helped on a bi-partisan election committee once in a non-partisan election. Never had a seen such bigotry as I saw by Democrats for a black Democratic candidate who was obviously the best choice. It started with hand wringing when another promenant candidate didn't surface from the ranks of the left and before long the cries of "those people aren't ready..." and the like were tragic-comic drama to behold.
Democrats have defended slavery until it couldn't be kept and then defended Jim Crow until it wouldn't survive and then made mascots of all minority groups they could spin to believe their "power sharing" lies.
