I pray that the statements about his conversion are true. There is little to gain by a false profession (no parole) and a lot to lose (his family is at risk of being punished). Any time a person accepts Christ is a time for rejoicing and I hope this is a time for the angels in Heaven to sing. That having been said, he still deserves to be imprisoned for his crimes. May he be a light before those around him - both prisoners and staff. If he has become a believer, he can minister right where he is and be bless for his obedience.

I've got news for her, all convicts are like this. If they can't get what they want from the officers, they cry to a supervisor, and keep going up the chain of command until they find some weak-kneed Lieutenant or Captain that will give in to them. They're nothing but manipulators and cry-babies. They're also big and brave when they're acting out in front of their friends, but become puppies with their tails between their legs when you get them alone.

Only the Good Lord Himself knows the heart of this......person. If the conversion and repentence of sin are genuine......then God will put his sins away; forget them. That is a kind of love I’ll never understand but appreciate beyond measure.
If he’s ‘faking it’, then he ultimately fools no one and will spend eternity in a flaming, nightmarish Hell.
