Is declaring that this country would be a better place if the Jews would just convert to Christianity just someone professing her faith? Basically, that's the same as saying that Judaism is inferior to Christianity. And I know too many devout Christians who vehemently disagree with that for me to accept that as merely "professing her faith."
It is required that Christians should work to 'teach all nations' or speak Gods' Story (Gospel), to spread the 'Good News' (evangelize). It is something all Christians are obligated to do. Ideally there would be no one on earth who has not been offered the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ!
Those who are offended by this are anti-Christian bigots, and these bigots are killing hundreds of Christians around the world every month.
Perhpas, but others would disagree.
Warning, Ann doesn't like liberals, so this is likely an unacceptable conceptThe Citizens of the United States of America have a right to applaud themselves for having given to mankind examples of an enlarged and liberal policy: a policy worthy of imitation. All possess alike liberty of conscience and immunities of citizenship It is now no more that toleration is spoken of, as if it was by the indulgence of one class of people, that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent natural rights. For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.
A liberal said that to Jews. Imagine.
Demean themselves as good citizens, they don't have to be Christian's to make this a better nation after all.
Shame on Ann and her supporters.
She said nothing of the sort and you know it. She said this would be a better place if everyone was Christians. She was not singling out Jews who only make up 5% of the Country. The interviewer was who brought up Judaism with his phony outrage.
Even if you ignore the Salvation part of the issue, what religion has done more for the needy than Christians. It is our calling and churches as well as ministries have helped billions of people worldwide. That alone makes her statement true.
How is it that Jews do not see Jesus as the Messiah when he fulfilled all of the 400 prophesies??
