Ann Coulter did her best to drop a bomb on the October 10 episode of "Tucker" on MSNBC. At the conclusion of her interview, Ann Coulter announced that the National Enquirer was just reporting that John Edwards had an 18-month affair while on the campaign trail. You can read the story here.
Before going any further, this allegation must be met with a healthy degree of skepticism. First of all, the story is originating from the National Enquirer, which in and of itself, raises questions as to the story's reliability. Secondly, Coulter had a notorious run-in earlier this year with Elizabeth Edwards on an MSNBC episode of "Harball." Coulter would have every motivation to repeat a salacious tabloid sex allegation about John Edwards.

Well, she’s been sucking face with yet another well known rat lately, and insulting the only conservative who has a real chance to get nominated-while supposedly backing a guy who has a snowball in hell’s chance of getting anywhere in this election, so, either she’s not as smart as she thinks she is, or you might be on to something.

Sorry, typo (Maltin’s the movie reviewer) - and of course I know who she is, and she’s an attractive woman...but that’s the point I was trying to make; that it’d be nice to see her respected for her work instead of just her ass.
Coulter, on the other hand, acts like an ass. But to each their own.

Well, the Enquirer broke the Bruno Magli story re: OJ when nobody else picked up on it. That’s worth something, as I believe it helped at the second trial. They’re right much of the time. Of course they’ve been writing about the Bush marriage being on the rocks, so who knows.
I always preferred Siskel & Ebert growing up — I actually talked to Siskel real briefly when I lived in Chicago. He and Lester Holt (now of MS/NBC; they both were on the Chicago NBC affiliate at the time) were out walking their dogs in my neighborhood, if you can believe that.
But please, please - DON’T post a recent picture of Roger Ebert. Matter of fact, don’t even go looking for one. Seriously.
