I really like Duncan Hunter. Those who watched — how do you think he did? I did not see the debates.
The problem remains that when you're annointed with being the "second tier," questions only come at you once in a while.
Even with that problem, Hunter spoke well and was concise. He has content and timing down.
The media doesn't want someone of his confidence level to be on top....He's not your typical "politician."

You can hear Hissy hissing in the background on one of the questions trying to get him to shut up. Meanwhile, during a "30 second" round they allowed Paul to rant for close to a minute and a half.
I really like him too. But I thought his performance last night was bad. He kept repeating the same thing over and over about China, and his other comments just didn't seem to resonate with anyone in the audience (unfortunately).
I thought Duncan Hunter did great. Especially in the beginning. Towards the end, although he did not falter, I think some of the others “caught” up so finished middle of the pack. I don’t think he had any huge blunders (depending on what your attitude on Free Trade is).
He did well BUT Duncan Hunter still has no name recognition due to a perfidy amongst the MSM. Anyone who knows his life story and his service to his country would be proud to vote for him. Still, he doesn't seem to have much of a chance--best bet is 2nd place on a ticket.
