Part of it already exists, in Indiana and Michigan. I actually drove a stretch of it this past summer, from Flint to Port Huron.

It currently runs from Indy to Port Huron.

For the record, the Big Beaver Exit (exit 69) is on Interstate 75 in metro Detroit.

Here in my part of Connecticut there's a state highway, Route 69, that goes from New Haven, CT to Burlington, CT.

Quite a few people I know like to talk about taking "a drive down 69."
