Schwarzenegger reveals health bill months after outlining plan
AP on Bakersfield Californian ^ | 10/9/07 | Laura Kurtzman - ap

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced a health care reform bill that he wants lawmakers to consider as they meet in special session.

Schwarzenegger laid out his health reform ideas in January, but Democrats ignored his plan. Instead, they passed a health reform bill the governor says he will veto.

Schwarzenegger hopes his latest effort will lead to a deal with Democratic leaders. But organized labor has been negative about the governor's approach and may pressure Democrats to vote no.

This is what the idiot Kahlifornicators get for electing this fake conservative to run the state.

Forced health coverage is tyranny. Nothing but cradle-to-grave slavery.

Screw Kahlifornia. Gimme Kolinahr.

My husband spent at least 30 minutes on the phone quite some time ago answering a survey from Arnies people about this. Interesting.

He seems to be better than the alternative.

That is the asinine, partisan logic that got California into trouble in the first place. Fortunately for us all, the kinoxi account does not appear to be franchised in California.

I would like to include a requirement that forces all elected officials to use the same plan which will be forced upon most of us. They can not use their official status to gain a earlier appointment, better treatments or go outside the system because they can pay for it. If they need to seek treatment outside the system they must publicly state why the failure of the system forces to go outside the system. If they voted for them system, resign their office before seeking the needed treatment. If they add this I still thing it would be a stupid.

You should correct my misstatements.

Fortunately, that's not my responsibility. I encourage all to first do their homework, then participate and contribute on the California Topic.

Suggesting that a liberal Republican (the Austrian) was preferable to the alternative simply reinforces the superstitions of the uninformed, Republican partisan seeking advice, guidance and affirmation on this forum.

The good news is Arnold's budget busting plan is DOA as the economy is heading south. The bad news is the Democrats still want to put California's economy in the tank.

He is a Third Waysian and a EUroSocialist, as more dangerous as a than Gore and Clinton for his ideology... and twice as expensive.

Republican gets its name from Republic, a form of government.

Democrat gets it name from Democracy, another form of government.

A Republic is a form of government that says government shall be small and should serve the people.

A Democracy, in truth, means “mob rule”, which means that if 51% of the voters vote for freedom, then the population gets freedom, but if 51% votes for tyranny, then the population gets tyranny.

So in conclusion, Republicans >>>>>>>> Democrats. :)
