CNBC is generally the slightly more conservative/pro-business wing of the NBC family. That, and Matthews is well aware that things will get ugly if he appears too partisan.

Everytime Paul comments on September 11th, he joins the Moonbats, the conspiracy-wackos and the friendly folks at BendOver.org.

Ron Paul is a clown. He’s practically foaming at the mouth. He makes Mike Gravel look normal.

It is a pop culture, cultish type of worship. In 1980 it was the Rubics Cube, in 1990, it was Bart Simpson’s Eat My Shorts t-Shirt, in 2000 it was the Backstreet Boys, now it is Ron Paul.

I just don’t get Thompson’s appearance and presentation, although I like most of his positions. If he would go into an “acting” mode and act a presidential candidate’s role, although that’s probably terrible to say, he might come off a lot better. And what’s with the total absence of cosmetics for his first real national exposure?

He may be correct- but it was still the wrong answer for a debate- without context..
I cannot grasp Ron Paul’s appeal..principles aside for a moment- the man is unhinged.
