He answered the Sadaam question good but once again stuttered a little at the end. That’s really bad for a tv star, all the stuttering oohs and aahs.

Duncan Hunter is the best of them. I see the DJIA hit a new record again today. Must be the Republican Debate giving Wall Street some extra confidence.

As a young voter I’m not looking for slick and polished. It might be great for a photo op but it doesn’t run a country.
To: longtermmemmory
Romney is polished, Guiliani is a thug, and Thompson is Folksy You just wanted everyone to start drinking earlier ... have a heart ... it's not even 2pm on the west coast yet!

Hunter’s right — a president has the power to hit the enemy if you have a narrow window.

This congressional war approval question is a trap. It is not a yes or no answer.

Did Fred say Iraq had a nuclear reactor taken out by the Israelis? Wasn't that Iran?
Also, didn't he say Saddam and his son. Saddam had two sons.......

From yesterdays IBD editorial
First, Some Questions For Matthews
-- snip --
If he questions the GOP candidates on Iraq, they should ask what he thought about Carter watching as the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. They could also ask him what words of advice he whispered in Carter's ear as our hostages twisted in the wind for 444 days as Carter's foreign policy crashed and burned in the Iranian desert.
If he asks about the war on terror, they should reply: "Chris, do you agree that the war on terror and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan might not have been necessary, and that 9/11 might never have occurred, had your boss not ushered in the world's first Islamofascist dictatorship and a state sponsor of terror by undercutting our ally, the Shah of Iran?"
As for what Bush intends to do about Iran, we suggest: "Chris, do you blame the existence of a regime that daily provides the weapons to kill American troops in Iraq and threatens nuclear holocaust on the naive policies of the Carter administration you served?"
