In keeping with what is best for this nation it’s obvious that if Jimmy C. is against it we should send the bombers over ASAP.

And what good did all the diplomats do? We are in a worse condition with Iran than we have ever been. Carter’s plan didn’t work then and won’t work now.

We should listen to Carter. His record on dealing with Iran is pristine.
To: presidio9
I think Carter is the least qualified person in the US to advise on how to deal with Iran...

Carter should be embarrassed to mention Iran, after the terrorists had their way with him when he was in office.

Carter's latest book, "Beyond the White House: Waging Peace, Fighting Disease, Building Hope," covers the work he's done around the world since leaving office -- and continues to do Did he do anything while he was actually IN office?

Dear God, he can’r die fast enough for me.
After giving away the Panama Canal for nothing at all and calling the American Revolution “illegal” what would be next anyway?
When is this clown going to propose giving Texas, NM, and Arizona back to Mexico?

So, I think, to assuage their fears, and to tell them the truth about our intentions, would be more helpful." Ok.
Our intention is to to attack and invade.
How's that for truthful?

"So, I think a military strike against Iran at this time would be completely unnecessary and counterproductive. Iran is a different proposition from what Iraq was when we attacked Iraq. It wouldn't be an easy thing to invade Iran. And where would we get the troops? We don't even have enough troops for Iraq.
How does a military strike equal a ground invasion? I agree that the US is in no position to occupy Iran right now, but hopefully some concerted bombing along with temporary ground action can permanently disable or at least set back Iran's nuclear capabilities.
To: presidio9
Remember, whatever Jimmy Carter says, we should do the exact opposite. Period.

Based on your track record in the region and your complete lack of awareness of current events, we’d rather ignore your input, unless it’s as reference for doing the opposite.

Jimmy Carter the idiot. The talking he did for 444 days while our people were held hostage accomplished nothing! It was only when they saw Reagan was going to stop talking and start attacking when he was sworn in did the Iranians see the light and let our people go. If Jimma says talk, I say BOMB>
