UNDATED -- The Paul McCartney-Stevie Wonder hit "Ebony and Ivory" tops a new list of the worst duets.

BBC Radio Six conducted the poll, seeking listeners' views on the collaborations they like the most -- and least. The 1982 tune is one of two tracks the former Beatle has in the top 10 worst list. "The Girl Is Mine," his duet with Michael Jackson, has the No. 6 spot. Elton John and David Bowie also have two collaborations on the worst list.

Elton's "Live 8" performance of "Children of the Revolution" with British rocker Pete Doherty is coming in at No. 7, while his version of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" with George Michael takes the No. 9 spot.

Call me crazy but I kind of like “When I Say I Do” by Clint Black and Lisa Hartmann. And Tammy Terrell and Marvin Gaye were meant to sing those duets.

Never had any use for McCartney. Or The Beatles, for that matter.

That being said, it's amazing how much absolute garbage McCartney has put out since the Beatles. It's all the more frustrating because there has been some excellent stuff mixed in.

Duets hail back to opera, operetta, Broadway, vaudeville, and cheesy schmaltz in general, and have no place in rock and roll, in my opinion. Can you imagine Johnny Rotten singing a duet with, oh, I don’t know, Patti Smith, or early Elvis with early Brenda Lee?
