Sorry, Phil. Cox just disqualified himself from my book with this statement. He should be apologizing to his mother and other mothers of his day (like mine) who loved their children from the moment of conception.
Good point, Cletus! Cox was well intentioned, but he just put is foot in his mouth.
It’s quite possible he and his mother have discussed this. She may well have told him that very thing. Doesn’t mean she loves him any less...but at the time she could’ve been young and unaware of things.
