This story has not been widely reported in the news. For whatever reason, this is the first I have heard of it.

The media turn a blind eye on any crime that is committed by someone from what they consider to be a designated victim group. If a crime is committed by a homosexual or an illegal immigrant or the like, the facts tend to be suppressed
