Anti-Muslim Fliers Cause Uproar

Posters appeared all over the George Washington University campus yesterday morning blaring the message: "HATE MUSLIMS? SO DO WE!!!"

Campus police moved quickly to remove the fliers, university leaders began investigating how they got there and student groups met last night to deplore the posters, which had a photo of an Arab and description of "typical Muslim" features such as "suicide vest," "hidden AK-47" and "peg-leg for smuggling children and heroin."

Thanks for posting the reminder of how little religious freedom exists in many parts of the world.

The battle for hearts and minds is in our schools and college campuses.

Ironically all of the protest signs on campuses that are quote unquote against the occupation of Palestine use coded language about Zionists. You know, the Zionists who control the media, run the banks, etc. Just another term for “Jew” to the Islamic Supremacists but it never gets noticed in the press.

Even the Iranian nutjob made such comments when he came to America.

I think the fliers are quite mild given that the address the most vile murderous death cult that ever violated the planet by its existence.

As far as the "muslim brotherhood" is concerned; it should be eradicated.

Obviously these shouldn't be out there. Does serious damage to Islamo Fascism Awareness Week (begins Oct 22) which many schools would like to keep off campus. This gives them an excuse. Not like there aren't effective, non offensive images out there.

If not CAIR, someone who wants to provide administrators here and elsewhere to keep Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week off this and other campus'. Note the flyer in post 27, they got the dates wrong, an unlikely mistake for someone associated with the Awareness effort.

The Young America’s Foundation, which is the conservative student group hosting “Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week” has vehemently denied any and all responsibility for these fliers. It is a total disinformation smear tactic by the left and others on campus. IMHO, it was meant to upset people and give the administration an excuse to cancel this event.

That was a good catch, btw, about the date on the flier.

I could be wrong, but seems most of the Muslimization is this country started after 9/11. I never heard of footbaths until now. One student was disciplined over a pork sandwich.

Even in the comics. What is happening with "Dick Tracy"? I have not followed it, but happened to glance at Sunday's strip and there was this story something about an attempt to bomb our landmarks by the Russians with help of Germans in order to frame Muslims?

This sounds like a free speech issue. The posters don’t threaten Muslims, they satirize them. Think MAD magazine or Saturday Night Live. They satirize all sorts of people in just the same way. Why is that just good fun to satirize other groups and individuals, but satirizing Muslims is considered hate? I refuse to accept the PC polices contention that Muslims are somehow better than everyone else and must be treated differently.
