Election '08: What does the Clinton campaign's use of convicted and disgraced Sandy Berger as an adviser say about the judgment of someone who wants to be president of the United States?
Berger's tie to Hillary through his service as national security adviser to husband Bill is not a compelling reason to seek his counsel. Neither is a Clinton friendship with Berger that goes back 35 years. This is a man who was charged and convicted of the unauthorized removal of classified material from the national archives, not someone with a sparkling resume of success. Clinton can pass off his 2003 theft as an "honest mistake," as Berger claimed, or just another humorous example of Berger's renowned sloppiness. But the facts say he stuffed his clothes with classified material and left the building with it. He also destroyed at least one document that was linked to the Clinton White House's record on terrorism, hid some at a construction site and lied about having the material.

It says that he’s got something on Hillary. Something big. Big enough to persuade her to take a seriously damaging political hit in order to avoid the bigger one she’d have to take if Berger squealed.
What it says precisely is that she can get away with it and has gotten away with it, and that the media have turned a deliberate blind eye toward a blatant felony in order to enable her to get away with it, and further, that they will do so again any time she wants them to should she gain the White House. It says that a future Clinton administration will be the same cesspool of shameless criminality that the last one was.
hummmmmmmm...... I’ll bet you are right, I never thought of that.
Nailed it.
Let's be real here. I would be willing to bet that Bergers theft of documents was Hillarys idea to begin with! She wants advisor's willing to break the law and tell lies. Anyone else would not suit her heinous!
It doesn’t say anything about Hillary’s judgement. It proves that her and Bill owe Burglar big time for stealing the documents proving their responsibility for 9/11.
And he can probably prove it.
First off, it's the pay-off to Berger, for ensuring that certain facts will never come to light about the Clinton administration. For his health, I hope that he did keep copies, and that they're in a very secure place with orders to release them if he has an accident.
Secondly, it shows Hillary has no fear of the press exposing her for hiring Berger. She's got the media in her pocket. Bill knew that the press would never announce anything bad about him that had any real weight. Nothing more than "sex scandals." Scandals that could be used to capture the attention of the media and the populous. And he could claim that these were personal issues, and should be ignored. All the while hiding his real and serious transgressions in plain sight. Hillary's using the media for more of the same.

Anyone talking about exactly with Burglar took? Obviously, he was covering Bubba’s rear (and took the fall) yet no one in the media has investigated. We need to call Waxman and see if he will organize a committee to find out what Burglar took. Oh I forgot, he’s only out to get Conservative talk show hosts.
I don’t think so. My thought is that Berger is someone that Hillary can count on to be loyal and carry out her dictates. After all, he was willing to fall on the sword for them by stealing documents and disgracing himself. The Clinton machine operates very much like an organized crime family.
If he is smart, he will hire Blackwater Security to protect him around the clock.
She is our next President....after listening to Dobson tonight on H&C, Christian Conservatives will be voting for Her in droves.
I’m a Christian conservative, but I’m not brain dead.
