Hillary's poisoned poster child (quadruple OOOPS)

FLORIDA IS HOME to an ill-fated child whose life was ruined upon becoming a political pawn. No, this is not another lamentation about Elian Gonzalez.
This is the tragic tale of Jennifer Bush.
Do you remember Jennifer? Probably not. First Lady Hillary Clinton, who helped turn Jennifer into a national political prop for health care reform in 1994, must be very grateful that we've all forgotten the poor little girl from Coral Springs. Jennifer's story, which took a shocking but largely unnoticed twist last week, is not merely a case of legislation-by-anecdote run amok.
It's poster child abuse.

Thanks for this posting. It’s good to see people are attempting to milk health care even before Hillary gets to it. Hopefully this will start a few thought processes where none have existed before.

Last week, Kathleen Bush ... was sentenced to five years in prison on two counts of aggravated child abuse and one count of fraud. She also pled guilty to a separate count of welfare fraud for misrepresenting $60,000 in assets on Medicaid forms. That's all I could say, too: "wow"

Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy That's EXACTLY what this is.
We have had cases here in Georgia where the mothers were caught on videotape injecting feces or urine into their child's IV, administering unprescribed sedatives, etc., or even illegal drugs.
These mothers revel in the publicity of being a "saintly mother of deathly ill child." They get so hooked on it they poison their own child to keep getting the publicity.
Sick, sick, sick. And Hillary, the "smartest woman in the world," bought right into it.

They went to Washington, D.C., in 1994 to lobby for health insurance improvements in the wake of mounting medical bills. Jennifer sat beside then-first lady Hillary Clinton at the White House. Mother and daughter also testified at congressional hearings. There should be a photo of that - right next to those Rose Law Firm billing records...

Sounds just like Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy.Yes, and this would be the second time that a woman who has this odd disorder has been made a poster child by a first lady. The same thing happened with Nancy Reagan.
When I think about it, Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy and liberal/welfare state politicians who uses poster children seem to fill the same psychological in needs the same way.
To: Lorianne
Sure, just like Michelle to pick on this poor woman. Even lying, conniving scumbags should have a right to free health care.
And some think they have the right to be President too.

I hadn’t heard about this in 2000 either. I was sure a lot of other people hadn’t heard about it, either. In light of the recent flap on SCHIP advertising (see: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1908404/posts ) I thought people should revisit this 2000 story.
When will they learn that its 2007, not 1970 when they could get away with this stuff?

Well I know one thing...
The poor fool that selected this family is probably picking an ashtray out of his ear if Hillary was around.
You'd think that with all the poor minorities out there, they could find a legitimate candidate to fit the program they're trying to sell to us? Evidently not. LOL!
It's like Rathergate....the evidence may be suspect but the story is true.
