My grandma had one of those when I was growing up. First time (of many) I experienced 120V snap when I was screwing around with the lights on the thing, I was about 5 at the time.

Just add some wheels, and find some spare closet space — and you could have a real time saver too. Like this suggestion for Dilbert’s house:
Christmas tree storage closet. Fake tree stays decorated, on wheels, all year, ready to come out in December.
