"WSJ: Would a Democratic administration have any effect on the Fox Business Network?
MR. AILES: Well, if you listen to them right now with their fairness doctrine nonsense and their 'we need to shut down this one little voice over here that's irritating,' yes.
*snip*
If we suddenly get an administration that is not for freedom of speech, we'll have difficulty. However, we will fight and endure if that becomes necessary. But freedom of speech is really important.
Freedom of the press is really important. We have not had to take any major story off our air in 11 years because we've been wrong, and we don't anticipate having to do that in the future."

I think the MoneyHoney is losing her luster. I
can’t stand her shrieking voice. I have no doubt
Ailes will provide ample competition .. ;)

this is an entertaining read. several amusing or otherwise humorous comments, including items about Greenspan’s book, Jim Cramer, his interest in attending parties locally, and his relationship with Murdoch.

Fine with me. I’ll settle for Erin Burnett.

I like to read Cramer, but his “Mad Money” show on CNBC is, to me, unwatchable. Now, Erin Burnett is very watchable ...
Interestingly, Roger Ailes seems to agree.

My favorite Roger Ailes quote -
He was testifying before the Senate along with the other network news bigwigs about why the networks got the 2000 election so wrong
"When Republicans come out of polls, if you ask them a question, they tend to think its none of your business and Democrats want to share their feelings"

I wonder what purshent of the business audience prefers live raccoons (Maria) to dead raccoons (Paul Zahn)?
As Maria gets pushed aside by Erin Burnett, her voice rises in pitch to stridency--as Maria finds herself outmatched in beauty, brains and ethical integrity. The best career move for Erin would be to join Alexis Glick at Fox Business. Why would she want to put up with the likes of Mark Haynes and Jim Cramer?
