Texas Hold-em Game begins 1992 when Bill Clinton receives the Democrat Party nomination. Sitting at the game table, clockwise, is William J. Clinton (with Hillary standing directly behind), CNN News, New York Times, ABC News, Los Angeles Times, CBS News, Washington Post and NBC News. All ante up and the game begins.
Dealer lays down two cards to all players. The first card shows detailed accusations of the Clinton's past history. The other card shows the evidence to support the allegations.
Clinton looks at his cards and replies, "Check". Three of the other seven look at their cards and say, "Check". The remaining four don't even look at their dealt cards, yet, reply, "Check" also.
All in. Dealer then lays first of the face up cards.
Questions game observers are thinking:
1.) What did this card deal with?
2.) How much did the Clinton's bet?
3.) How much did the media bet or raised?
4.) Who folded?
5.) Who remains at the table?
6.) Ask same questions to next cards coming up.
7.) Ask same questions to the down-and-dirty last card.
Doesn’t sound all that much like Hold ‘em.
The only card game the Clintons play with the United States of Amazing Suckers is “52 Pick-Up.”
No in all the Hold’em games I’ve played, the players don’t tell each other what cards we’re holding.

LOL very good!

Well put. This country contains some very selfish, self-absorbed people that have their heads stuck up their addresses. To even think of supporting the criminal grifters, Bonnie and Clyde, is beyond belief. This country deserves whatever it votes for itself in 2008. They will rue the day if they put a Marxist President in, along with a Marxist-dominated Congress.
It is my worst nightmare.
That’s right.
Yep
You’re missing some good metaphors here. In hold’em the players don’t ante. Instead there’s the little blind (CNN) and the big blind (NYT). And then there’s the flop, the turn, and the river...
