Two sentences into the article and it’s pointless to go on.
Media critics? Lord have mercy. What insuferable fools...
When is the last time the inside the beltway elites have been right about anything?
waiting...
This is what gets written about a candidate who doesn't suck up to the almighty lords of the MSM.
In before the nattering nabobs get here...
The media simply invent stories by reporting on what fellow media libs are saying.
Wow.
Fred will do well to disregard the media. Most people don’t trust them anyway. The key is to run as the outsiders outsider. The technology and means is there to get ones message across without the blessing of the media. What are they going to do not cover it when he wins Iowa? The fact that Fred is going to do this his way is very important. He needs to do it his way if he is going to win the nomination. He already has a very solid core of support. I don’t get the same feeling from the supporters of the other candidates outside of Ron Paul. The Paul supporters are special lot. It is such a pity though Ron Paul is right on the money with wanting to eliminate whole government agencies. I wish more on the right held to such ideas.
Exactly, and if Fred develops Reaganesque ways of sinking the media's slanted/agendaized questions (like RR's "There you go again"), Fred will deball the media and the other candidates simultaneously. The media Fear The Fred!
Fred caught the Clinton spin and smear machine off guard. Doubtless, Car-vile and the War Room lads have reams of material on Giuliani and Romney (that they’re holding for the general election), but they haven’t had a chance to prepare a proper dossier on Fred. That explains the weakness of the attacks on the Former Senator, and the terror he seems to instill in the Drive-by Media.
Ping!
The leftists in the drive-by media are scared to death of Fred Thompson. They know he’ll smash their girl Hillary and do it while telling them to kiss his bodingus.
I’m betting he will lose in the exit polls too...
Fred Thompson “is competitive in Iowa and New Hampshire”
He’s not competitive here in NH, he doesn’t even have an organization. At the Manchester NH GOP straw poll a few weeks ago he came in second... only receiving 9% of the vote to Ron Paul’s 65% 1st place finish.
None of the other candidates here in NH have serious campaigns and they certainly don’t have effective grassroots organizations.
