To: Extremely Extreme Extremist

Yes, I think Paul is wrong on foreign policy. We can’t pull out of this war, even though that’s what I desperately want to do. I want to win more, though.

We have already won, if you consider the original three objectives; depose Saddam Hussein, (did that), find/disable any weapons of "mass destruction" (did that), and allow the Iraquis to engage in free elections (the dreaded "D" word). We did all of those things, but apparently our military is now caught in a situation known as "mission creep".

The truth is, nobody knows how much more fighting we have to do there. Nobody has been able to tell me how we will even know when we have "won" again.

There is no forseeable end to the fighting, and for some unexplained reason, it falls largely to the United States military to keep on fighting.
