WFTR:His opinions about our conflict with Muslim jihadists are just wrong,

Revelation911:and they differ from the Bush's (leader of repubs) how ?

You can't ask this kind of question and be taken seriously. The fact that you typed the question is one more example of how Dr. Paul's supporters are making him a joke. Here's a list of differences. I hope you learn something.

1. Ron Paul believes that assisting the Afghan rebels in their fight against the Soviet Union was one reason that Al Qaeda attacked us on 9-11. President Bush does not.

2. Ron Paul believes that preventing Iraq from taking over Kuwait and large parts of Saudi Arabia in the early 90's was a mistake that led to the 9-11 attacks. President Bush does not.

3. Ron Paul believes that stationing troops in Saudi Arabia at the request of the Saudi government was a mistake that led to the 9-11 attacks. President Bush does not. Furthermore, Ron Paul acts as if Americans would want to fight back if the Saudis established a presence in our country. He ignores the fact that the Saudis invested heavily in our country throughout the 80's and 90's. There was some concern, but no one wanted to kill innocent people over it. He also ignores or is ignorant of the fact that Saudi military personnel have trained at military facilities in the United States in partnership with the United States military.

4. Ron Paul believes that ignoring terrorist training in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other places will keep us safe from those terrorists. President Bush believes that we should destroy any terrorists that we find training for terrorist operations.

5. Ron Paul believes that taking the fight to the terrorists on their territory makes us less safe. President Bush believes that fighting them over there is safer than fighting them over here.

6. Ron Paul believes that everyone is motivated only by financial incentives. He believes that if we simply withdrew from any conflict around the world that free market solutions would flourish and everyone would be at peace. President Bush doesn't hold this naive view. While President Bush should speak more strongly against Islam, his concessions to political correctness haven't kept him from standing against our enemies.

7. Ron Paul believes that if we hadn't had any involvement in the Middle East then the terrorists wouldn't have attacked us on 9-11. While he may be clear about who flew the planes on that day, he still says that we brought the attacks on ourselves. That idea is stupid and shows his ignorance of the violent nature of Islam. Eventually, we would have faced this enemy regardless of what we did.

Again, I've supported Dr. Paul on many domestic issues. I've donated money to his campaigns. He's right on many domestic issues, but his ignorance of how the world really works disqualifies him from the presidency. By cutting and pasting my comments, you tried to separate these points in order to make a dig about the IRS. I'm not sure whether you did this out of dishonesty or ignorance.
