Yes, I know all that. What I’m failing to see is where Jesus says, ‘I am God. Forget about that whole Father thingy.’ I accept the Father. I accept Jesus as my Savior. I believe in the Holy Trinity. But I believe that God is the Father and Jesus is his Divine Son, by whom we (as Christians) find the path to the one true God- He who shall be nameless and held above all things.

John 8:58 - “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

Jesus is ‘I am’.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58

Jesus is the first and the last.

Jesus said, “Fear not; I am the first and the last:” Revelation 1:17

The Holy Trinity does not compromise the oneness of God. The one God is three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are God, not three parts of God.
The Incarnation means that the second person of the Holy Trinity, who is called the “Word” of God, became flesh (added our human nature to his divine nature) and was called Jesus.
“I and the Father are one” (John 10:30)
