Richardson runs left

At a recent combined fundraising-campaign stop in Pittsburgh, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said he believed his debate performance in New Hampshire the night before had been the "breakthrough that he needed to move up into the first tier" of candidates. Referring to his break on Iraq war policy from Democrat front-runners Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards -- they all had refused to pledge that U.S. troops would be out of Iraq by the end of their first or second term as the next president -- Richardson said he was feeling confident.
"My position on Iraq is going to separate me from the other candidates," he said. "I do not believe in leaving any residual troops. I would bring them back within a year, starting with my first day in office."

He may very well be the next VP if he can bring a SW State to the electoral table for hillary.

Should Richardson make it onto the Dem ticket his involvement with New Jersey loan sharks, and his backing of gaming casinos on Navaho land would come under intense scrutiny. Richardson is tied into (and has used the plane) of Jersey types responsible for the exponential growth of execrable loan-sharking in sites adjacent to Reservation land. He has also backed the Navajo tribal council leader who is determined to introduce casino gambling on the reservation despite widespread objection that has roadblocked the practice for more than two decades. In the end, Richardson could be accused of racism in his treatment of the Indian nation — and if nominated, no doubt will.
For us New Mexicans, there’s good and bad news if Bill moves to Washington. The bad news is that he moves to Washington. The good news is that he moves to Washington.

He could be simply a diversion to make her appear centrist and reasonable to the 95% ignorant voters
If that is so Evan Bayh of Indiana could be the pick without all of the negative pro-illegals open-borders-baggage and the criminal links of Richardson
I have no idea who the VP choice will be. I do not read, listen and watch as you do.
