That’s why the autopsy is important. What bullets came from what guns, assigned to each wound. Some will be non-fatal, some or one will be the one that was fatal. Surprised the State AG is saying anything if the investigation is still active. Hmmmmm...
Who gave the first unconfirmed account on FR that the shooter had been killed? My memory is getting foggy...

I am on the side of Conservatism, period, and I’m not going to play your silly little game of which Presidential Candidate’s “side” am I on, and commence entertaining myself and others with thoughts that I personally am going to influence, all by myself, the election. Now, let the people know, you and your friends have wanted to play a game since the beginning and it has simply killed you that I would not play your game.
If you choose the side of Conservatism and Patriotism, you will not go wrong. I recommend this to everyone. You’ve been working to play me for a very long time. Funny, because you have been played, along with your ilk. Now pick up what’s left of your pride and ego and try not to play so many games in forums. When you asked me right off, “what side are you on”, I knew your agenda. Your agenda was to play... get rid of anyone who didn’t support your Candidate. Once something like this happens, it’s just a matter of time before new policies come into effect.
Similar thing happened with the bridge in Minnesota. Over the labor Day weekend, I drove my daughter down to Florida to take her to college, and there was about 8 or 9 bridges that were out. My guess is that they were being evaled for safety.
One thing for certain, policies *will* be reviewed.

Apparently its the county with the SWAT team not the town. Still point is well taken, since they seem to have only a couple dozen deputies.
It would seem more sensible to have a regional SWAT team, as an additional duty for volunteer deputies in a multi county region. Perhaps with the state, the National Guard even, to provide lift to move them to where they are needed. That would reduce the incentive to use them for general warrant service, and they'd still be available for the rare hostage situation or heaven forbid a terrorist incident. (But Detroitistan isn't far off)

The thing that gets me is that he had that AR-15 with (at least) two fully loaded clips of 15 rounds each in his truck. I can see him carrying his service pistol around with him, but an assault rifle? Either that was normal with him(in which case it says something about his mental state) or he packed that weapon with him that night for a reason. And that smacks of premeditation, not a crime of passion by someone who just ‘snapped.’
You have to wonder if there wasn’t something evil in that SWAT training that he had just received....
Those reports left the impression that the Mayor issued those decrees. Reasonable because I don't know who else would have such authority short of a military declaration of martial law.

The Wisconsin town of Crandon is under lockdown after a suspect believed to be with the local sheriff’s office gunned down as many as six youths early this morning.
According to a FOX News report, the town’s mayor claims the town is under a “gag order” regarding the overnight event.
Well after the Red Lake(MN) massacre of 3-21-05, they shut down the cell phone network and closed off all the roads to the rez, so this stuff seems to be SOP. Kinda sinister, if you ask me. And no, it was not the mayor who ordered the gaq orders; my gut feeling is the crime scene was federalized almost immediately. Note the FBI was on scene even before the perp died.
