Nobody Knows the Lynchings He’s Seen
NY Times ^ | October 7, 2007 | FRANK RICH

Posted on 10/07/2007 5:38:07 AM PDT by JohnLongIsland

WHAT'S the difference between a low-tech lynching and a high-tech lynching? A high-tech lynching brings a tenured job on the Supreme Court and a $1.5 million book deal. A low-tech lynching, not so much.

What do you expect from this writer? He speaks for the elite left. Clarence Thomas is everything he hates.

Doesn’t think much of Justice Thomas, does he?

From start to finish Frank El-Rich displays his complete lack of anything resembling intellectual honesty or rational merit. Amazing how you can be a complete mindless screaming political bigot with not the slightest hint of a clue of possibility of a thought and STILL be employed by the NY Jihad Times.

The fact that they allow this clown so much ink raises serious doubts about the moral, journalistic and intellectual credibility of the NY Jihad Times.

I hope that Kroft’s slam that Thomas ‘had to settle’ for the Assistant AG job in Missouri is his spin and not Justice Thomas’. I know that Danforth has taken a lot of pride over the years in recognizing his talent and recruiting him for Missouri. And 10 grand back in 1974 wasn’t bad money for a new lawyer in a government gig.

Confirms a lack of it.

It is when you are a Yale Law School grad. I suspect that most of Thomas' white classmates landed jobs at top firms in NYC, LA, Boston, and Washington, DC at $30,000 to $40,000 per year or more, and if they didn't, then that was a choice they made. Thomas, in contrast, did not have many choices.

I think you'd be surprised at the starting salaries 33 years ago, even on Wall Street, even for Ivy League. Associates started in the mid to upper teens at larger firms, mid to lower teens at smaller ones.

Well Frank (may I call you Frank?), with a low-tech lynching you use a rope and a tree. And with a high-tech lynching you use the NY Times leftist agitprop machine and barrels upon barrels of ink.

Any more questions 'mr' Rich?

Frank Rich sealed his reputation as “total scum” a long time ago.

I am so glad Clarence Thomas is on the Court

The number I came up with is an estimate based upon the starting salaries at top firms when I graduated back in 1984, which was approximately $80,000.

I have no doubt whatsoever about the moral, journalistic and intellectual credibility of the NY Times. They have proven themselves lacking again and again and again.

Seeing the name, I’m wondering whether the real answer would be “One I’m OK with, the other not so much.”

I have no doubt about "the moral, journalistic and intellectual credibility of the NY Jihad Times." The Slimes has NO credibility whatsoever, at least not a a provider of news. Propaganda, yes, but news, NO!

Frank Rich is upset because only the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are allowed to use terms like “High Tech Lynching”.
