I'm going out on a limb and suggesting that if...oh...say Fred Thompson, or Rudy G...calls up Mike Wallce or...let's say Tim Russert...and states with enthusiasm "Tim/Mike, you gotta book me this week. I'm gonna give your viewers a lesson on the perils of socialized medicine. I'm gonna remind them that the states can finance the SCHIP program. I'm gonna debate any Dem you throw at me....yada, yada."..well I'm betting they'd get a seat at the table, right next to Pelosi in fact.
Same above scenario with...say...John McCain, for example, even Trent Lott, how about the Utah guy? A sitting senator or Rep is what I'm saying here. If they wanted to get on the shows and they promised a rollicking debate...they'd get a chance.
Problem is...they don't offer a rollicking debate because our elected pubs think the job they were elected to do is to keep the Dems down to a dull roar. It's why REAL conservatives out here in la-la land all busy raising the next generation of citizens and soldiers whilst carrying this country on our collective backs, are so ANGRY at the pubbies now serving.
Today's talk show lineup is example perfect of what I'm trying to say here. I mean hey, I pick up a nanosecond of their jobs with my Blog read by two or three people every day. God knows Rush Limbaugh pulls 2/3's of their load yet damn if I didn't miss the plethora of pubbies on the Sunday talk shows defending him. Did any of you guys chance to get some taped video? FreeRepublic does a lot of their job. It's time for the ones getting paid to do the job TO DO THEIR DAMN JOB!
We just have to UNELECT them. It's the only way they'll ever get it.
This is going to take years....perhaps too many years.

Phsstpok's Sunday Talk Show Preview Thread has a fantastic chart, detailing the MSM's obvious bias in inviting "guests"--or, more appropriately, "boosters." The bloggers should prepare a similar chart for the Sunday Talk Shows for the past eight years. A chart that would demonstrate--NON-ANECDOTALLY--the MSM's obvious bias. We all know how biased the MSM is, but a chart like the one Phsstpok did would be fantastic for real Republicans to use any time.
