The generation coming up has many who think and feel the way this young man did. I hope there will be enough for the coming battles our country will have to endure. Prayers up for this man’s family. He answered the higher call and now looks down to watch over us all.

Was it possible that I had helped persuade someone I had never met to place himself in the path of an I.E.D.? Christopher, people miss the point. These evil ***ers are killing people, not anybody else. Not Bush, not Cheney, not the recruiters, not Hillary...nobody but the evil terrorists that call their religion godly.
When our nation cannot unify against this evil we see who sides with the evil. We should act appropriately.

I consider it no sacrifice to die for my country. In my mind, we came here to thank God that men like these have lived rather than to regret that they have died.

Being read on the Hugh Hewitt show as I write this. Look for it to be posted on “Radiobloger.com” or the HughHewitt.com blog. Not sure he can do this but he might since Hugh is firends with Chris Hitchens.

Thank you for posting that moving tribute. Hitchins has a gift, logic and a soul. It is a shame he denies the one.
Prayers for all the Mark Dailys whose courage keeps us free.

How incredibly sad and moving at the same time. Another American patriot, among America’s finest, now walks with God.

Excellent! Thanks for posting it.

A Must Read.

Christopher Hitchens: He possesses, if I can be excused, a God-given talent for writing.

Christopher Hitchens has said, of Mother Teresa, "I wish there was a hell for the bitch to go to." The fawning over Hitchens by "conservatives" is nauseating.

Perhaps the best piece Hitchens has ever written.
Wow. What an incredible man that soldier was. His future could not have been anything but spectacular.
