well, I’ll agree with you, I don’t really know what purpose more investigations into 9/11 would serve. So I disagree with Paul on this. Although it would be nice to expose government for the corrupt and political rotting body it is, and maybe get some support to abolish some of it. :)

Did you know that some of the 9/11 comissioners attended a special pre-screening of Michael Moore’s pure propoganda Fahrenheit 9/11?

I think it’s fair to say he does go to Alex Jones for exposure, but, as you suggest, there’s probably also a degree to which Paul agrees with Alex Jones on other issues. Alex Jones does a lot more than talk about 9/11, he’s more or less a libertarian on almost all the other issues, is my understanding, I’ve never listened to him, so I don’t really know, but I’m sure he and Paul agree in a lot of areas. I’m sure there are things you agree with Alex Jones with, maybe you’d like to pay less taxes for instance (gasp!).

What if you went on Alex Jones and talked about lowering taxes? Would that make you a ‘truther’?

I wouldn't be on Alex Jones's show to begin with. I know who he is, know what he stands for, and there's no way I'd associate myself with that; running or not running for office. But you see, I'm an honest guy. And I know enough not to associate myself with kook, fringe, elements because their dirt WILL wash off.

But Ron Paul DOES do it. You say it 'may' be because he agrees with Jones on other issues. Well, the fact of the matter is Alex Jones IS the head Truther out there. And he flagrantly promotes that recognition. Whether there are other issues or not, I don't know. but I do know that when one associates himself with Alex Jones, one also, by default, associates himself with the Truther movement. And unless/until that individual publicly denounces such movement, he will rightfully be seen as a Truther. Other issues be damned.

Your saying "I don’t really know what purpose more investigations into 9/11 would serve. So I disagree with Paul on this." is a tacit acknowledgment that Ron Paul would actively seek further investigations. Your admission removes you from the rolls of Truthers, but not him. That he has to do for himself. Will he? I doubt it, and I'm beginning to believe you doubt it also.

Ron Paul is his own worst enemy. He's seeking acceptance from a fringe group no one honestly seeking the presidential nomination should associate with. Sorry, this makes him persona non grata with conservatives who what to see victory in the WOT. And that's what he'll stay.
