'Gay' and illegal: A winning combination

"... In early 1995, activists prodded their plate forward when they urged the Board of Supervisors to name one of the city's streets in honor of the late farm organizer Cesar Chavez...Had the activists chosen to rename Peralta Street or Pacheco or just about any street other than Castro Street – they knew better than to mess with Castro – the move would have met with negligible resistance. But they didn't. They went after the three-mile long "Army Street." Said activist Eva Royale, "It's fitting that a military name be replaced by a name dedicated to peace."...Always eager to make a show of its peacenik airs and ethnic enlightenment, the Board of Supervisors blew off the protests of the affected business people and voted 11-0 to approve the change..."

While the slight to the Army is merely a sidebar to the author's story, it seems timely as American's focuses on just how much the San Francisco Bay Area hates the military (in light of the recent insult to the Marines in San Francisco and soldiers and marines at the Oakland Airport)

I've said it before, and I’ll say it again. That city needs to be jettisoned from the union.

They do not deserve the protections of our Armed Forces, they do not deserve any Federal funds, and for that mater they do not deserve any State funds. RETROBATES!

This is an e-mail a friend sent to me: I know this is what they were doing in CA when the South Vietnamese arrived. They paid them about $2,500 a month, plus various benefits.

If this doesn’t get you mad; nothing will:

If you wonder why the SS system as all screwed up and out of money, this might be part of the problem

SHOCK FOR AMERICAN TAX PAYERS!

If the immigrant is over 65 they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than my mom gets for Social Security, and she worked from 1944 till
2004, only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there is a “catch 22”.

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also obtain an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00/month.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1, 012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470.00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.

Please forward to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing over the past 11 years - to the over-taxed American.

SEND THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN TAXPAYER YOU KNOW.

At the very least, I wish that the military would stop enriching it’s coffers with events like Fleet Week. San Francisco makes millions on this event. It’s like the Navy is a battered wife who keeps returning to her husband hoping that her capitulation will make him love her.

Why not riot? It works for blacks, Hispanics, feminists, and Communists.

The military does the same thing in Portland,OR for the Rose Festival and the city council there wants to do this:

Debate on Interstate Avenue continues The City Council is trying to decide whether or not to change Interstate Avenue to Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard.

Another public hearing was held in North Portland on the very heated debate of whether to change Interstate Avenue to Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard.

Although opinions seemed to run about 50/50, and there were very clear rules organizers set up for the meeting, there were definitely some moments that almost got out of hand. The most tense moments came when someone spoke out on the fact they believed the meeting was unfair.

"I also would like to point out that this is not a very democratic process, when we see a presentation that supports the name change, but no presentation at all that has the history of Interstate Avenue."

Mayor Potter was on hand to voice his support for the change. He said the council will have their decision by the end of the year.
