I find it sad that Mitt made a statement at all when he did not know the story.
It is further sad that he has not made a corrected statement when he had time to find out the truth.

I was baptized Mormon and put on their records. I have not been excommunicated. But I’m sure you can tell I no longer believe.

So by what standard are you calling me “not mormon” and untrustworthy. I don’t believe - - nor do you, but you are trustworthy and I am not?? MEGoody, are you for real?

I object to the too liberal past leadership of Mitt Romney, but even that would not prevent me voting for him against the clintons. HOWEVER, I am convinced that if he gets the nomination to run against the Rodham-rodent the DNC and their leftist sycophancy in the mainstream media will destroy Mitt’s chance to be elected by merely exposing the heresies of Mormonism to Christian conservatives who make up a significant enough percentage to cause the loss if they choose to not vote for a Mormonism active, bishop adherent. In the event that he does get the nomination, I am currently arranging words to try and overcome this wall of Mormonism heresies and get Mitt the votes of Christian conservatives ... but it is not looking hopeful when the condescending, twisting, insulting, deceitful methodology of the Mormonism Apologists airs as we see on these FR threads.

You answered the first one, and I already explained the last.

Alriiiighty then. I guess you are a believer of Mormonsism and therefore trustworthy otherwise by your own standard you are not.

I always wondered if you were a Mormon. Now I have my answer.

Yes, I see. Imho, Romney is not by any means our strongest candidate. He's not doing badly in the polls, but as we have seen in the past, that may change with a single scream (Dean) or misstep.

I believe that Fred Thompson is our best hope of winning in '08, and I have already contributed twice to his campaign.

The Aaronic priesthood was done away at the cross and the Melchizedek priesthood is unique to Christ.

The Aaronic priesthood was done away at the crucifixion of Christ, since He has become our permanent high priest. There is no more need for Levitical priests to offer imperfect sacrifices on behalf of the people in the temple. Jesus alone is worthy to hold the Melchizedek priesthood. Any believer today who has been called out of darkness into the light, regardless of age, race, or sex, is a member of the holy and royal priesthood. The believer operates in the highest authority that is offered today, viz., that of being a child of the Lord Omnipotent. Christians have the true priesthood, since they have the true God who gives it to them (Jn. 1:12; Gal. 3:26-29; 1 Tim. 2:5; Heb. 4:14; 5:9-10; 7:11-8:2; 9:24; and 1 Pt. 2:5 and 9).

“Yes. While I do not support Romney, I consider him a better candidate than Giuliani, who like me is Catholic.”

While I agree Guliani does not stand for catholic beliefs, I’m also glad he doesn’t believe he will become a god someday.

LOL Honey, I'm not the one claiming to be representing Mormon beliefs and practices in a truthful way. And I'm not the one who made a really bad analogy which debases Mormon beliefs, thus showing untrustworthiness. That's all you, dearie.

I see you are still trying to pull the Harry Reid thing. How cute.

You are so sweet, yet so transparent. Good day. I won’t be posting to you any longer.

My Mormonism or not, will NOT change the physical components of the garment. Go see if a goody mormon will tell you about the markings, miss goody-trustworthy. Why don’t you go join them and you can find out for yourself. But remember you must always maintain belief or you just won’t be “trustworthy.” :-D

Oh geez, you know that hasn't been my point. There you go being dishonest again.

You didn’t ask me but my biggest objection to Romney is the fact he can’t beat Hillary.

And one of the ways she will beat him is to start a smear campaign against all things Mormon, past and present. I don’t care how unfair it will be, it will work.

Romney isn’t a good enough candidate to overcome that. His conservative record is spotty as best. Guns, abortion, you name it.

Grass root conservatives will not be chomping at the bit to go out and fight for him.

He is more in love with himself than Judy.
