IRS - File-A-Thon - Let’s get Media Matter’s IRS exemption revoked
It’s time for action.
Here is the IRS form you can fill out online to ask the IRS to look into whether or not (they are) Media Matters has violated their exempt status.
You don’t have to be too specific, just grab the info off of
Media Matter’s website, and cite references you can find off a simple google search. The IRS representitive told me that in light of receiving several complaints already the "matter is under review".
I’m confident that among the conservative snoops we have in the blogsphere that together we can put a substantial case that will help the IRS make the correct determination.
Follow this
guideline in preparing your complaint.

UPDATE: Here is
Media Matters for America’s tax info. Note that their non-profit status expires December of this year. If the IRS gets enough complaints they could withold a renewal of their exemption.
